Margaret Aycock
Tulsa, OK OVAC Artist Member Since: 2003
Margaret Aycock is an oil painter whose painterly style resembles that of the American Post Impressionists. She is known for her paintings of Oklahoma landscapes and skyscapes, colorful, still lives and florals, and portraits. She is presently preparing for a show at Liggett Gallery entitled, Contemplating the Sacred, Land, Water, and Sky. This show will also include the artist, Courtney Lockhart, who works in clay. Margaret’s 2-D portion of the show will be paintings of the seasons of Double Spring Creek in Cherokee County and sky and prairie paintings in Osage and Tulsa counties. |
