Social Media Specialist

Learning and Community Engagement CoordinatorGilcrease Museum | Tulsa, OK

This role will build foundational relationships to transform Gilcrease into a community centered museum that is welcoming for all visitors. This position will support broad departmental efforts, from internship coordination to program development and implementation and community outreach.



Social Media Coordinator and Writer
Oklahoma Contemporary | Oklahoma City, OK

Full-Time | $35,000–$40,000 Per Year
The Social Media Coordinator and Writer creates engaging, brand-oriented and original text, photo and video content for Oklahoma Contemporary’s social media accounts. They manage day-to-day social engagement across platforms and participate as the brand in conversations across Oklahoma City, the arts and arts education industries and the nonprofit field. The Social Media Coordinator and Writer also handles other communications tasks and projects, with a focus on crafting both short- and long-form content about Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. The ideal candidate will have a deep command of the social and digital environment; strong PR, communication, writing and editing skills; comfort in working in a fast-paced setting; and a background in communications, journalism, public relations and/or marketing. Arts and/or nonprofit experience a plus. The ideal candidate will be a team player adept to working collaboratively.



Art Instructor
Firehouse Art Center | Norman, OK

Part-Time, Contract | $45 per hour
The Firehouse is hiring! We are seeking additional art faculty to teach classes; from kids and adults to outreach programs! Firehouse faculty members are professional teaching artists contracted by the Firehouse to provide creative visual arts instruction in a variety of mediums. As instructors, they enthusiastically challenge, engage, and communicate with their students to encourage individual participation and learning while meeting the needs and experience level of each student. Artists interested in applying should have a minimum of a Bachelors in visual arts; those with prior teaching experience are preferred.

Every day, our teaching artists work in schools, community centers, and senior living facilities to bring art education to underserved areas of OKC. We’re looking for artists interested in joining us as we invest in and grow this program. As our Teaching Artist program grows, new classes can be created, so artists of any style or medium are encouraged to apply.
