MaargaShobha: A Confluence of Traditions

  • 29 Aug 2026
  • 30 Aug 2026
  • Catlett and Putnam City West School

Two Days. Two Venues. Two Atmospheres. One Artistic Journey.

We are delighted to invite you to MaargaShobha, a Bharatanatyam recital celebrating the beauty of movement, music, and storytelling.

This year, MaargaShobha will be presented across two different venues, each offering its own artistic experience. While the repertoire remains the same, the ambiance and presentation will create distinctly different impressions for audiences.

Each venue adds its own character, making every presentation a special experience in its own right.

Whether you choose one performance or attend both, we invite you to immerse yourself in an evening of classical Indian dance, live music, rhythm, and expression.

Bharatanatyam is one of India's oldest classical dance traditions, combining rhythm, storytelling, music, and expressive movement. MaargaShobha highlights the dedication of Oklahoma dancers who have spent the past year preparing for this performance. They will have the rare opportunity to perform alongside a live South Indian classical orchestra.
