Have you heard about The Fresh Paint competition? This program by Arts Council Oklahoma City offers a chance to kickstart your public art career and create a commissioned mural to be featured at Festival of the Arts!

Selected applicants receive:
- 8'x8' canvas
- Supplies and color palette of choice
- Guidance from accomplished teaching artists
- Work showcased by Oklahoma City Thunder and at Festival of the Arts
- $250 honorarium
- The winner selected by open voting receives a custom Thunder prize pack.

What you will learn:
- Develop concepts and artist statements about the proposed work.
- Develop material lists and quantities.
- Prepare the mural frames and surfaces for painting.
- Apply the design to the surface and complete the mural.
