Brief Artist Bio

Maria Anderson is a Vietnamese-American artist from Muskogee, Oklahoma. She currently resides in Norman and holds a Certificate in Painting from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Brief Artist Statement

I explore trauma, memory, and kinship through my art. I produce work to meditate on these concepts and explore my own identity in both family and society.
