In Loving Memory of Carolyn Lindsey Kinslow, PhD (1942-2023)

With heavy hearts, we remember and honor Dr. Carolyn Lindsey Kinslow, who left us in August of 2023 due to complications arising from Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia. Carolyn's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to being of service, both as the Director of the Writing Center and Professor of courses in English Composition Native American Literature and Teaching of English at Cameron University in Lawton, OK. For over 30 years, she inspired countless college students to embrace their artistic potential and express their creativity. Her absence leaves a void in our world, but that void is illuminated by the love and inspiration she shared with everyone she touched.

Carolyn was an avid patron and supporter of the arts. In memory of her remarkable spirit, this donation fund has been established to bolster the ongoing efforts of the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC). By contributing to this fund, you'll be supporting OVAC's continuous commitment to growing and developing the visual arts community across the state of Oklahoma. We invite you to join us in preserving her legacy by contributing to a cause that was dear to her heart. By doing so, together we can ensure that she will endure as a source of inspiration and positive change for generations to come.
