Artist In Residence SPACE 2021-2022 application is OPEN! Members of the Paseo Arts Association can apply for the yearlong on-site residency in The Skirvin Hilton. We offer a first-floor working art studio and gallery that is open to the public. Due to COVID-19, SPACE will reopen in 2021-22 as a 15-month residency for this year only.

The Skirvin’s Artist in Residence program offers a first floor working art studio and gallery that is open to the public during established business hours as well as a $500 per month stipend, complimentary meals in the hotel and designated parking place to a selected artist each year.

TIMELINE

1) Deadline for Entries - Monday, May 3 at 11pm
2) Notification of Finalists - Friday, May 14 by 5pm
3) First Round - Interviews with PAA & SPACE Committee - TBA
4) Second Round - Interviews with Skirvin Management -TBA
5) SPACE artist selected & notified - by May 29
6) 2021-22 Residency Begins - July 1, 2021
7) Residency ends - September 30, 2022
