Race Massacre Exhibition Application

Living Arts of Tulsa invites artists to submit works for an upcoming exhibition honoring the centennial of the Tulsa Race Massacre that happened in June 1921. We will be debuting this exhibition to the public in late May of 2021, with special programming happening both before and after the official opening of the exhibition.

The goal of this exhibition is to showcase local artists and the community, while still providing an authentic experience. We are hopeful that this exhibition will present a homogenous showcase of archives with identified community members and contemporary art.

This exhibition and programming surrounding it will be facilitated by a committee of community members and staff to produce a genuine experience for all patrons.

This application will be open until October 1, 2020.
