My watercolors, monotypes and pastels are all based on my love of texture and the play of light and shadow on natural and man-made surfaces.

Artist Statement

I have been in love with watercolor literally since childhood when I first discovered the magic of this medium and its unique properties. Using various supports for the beautiful, granulating pigments such as hand-cast papers, Aquabord, Claybord, Yupo and canvas further enhances the wonderful and sometimes surprising results.

Upon discovering monotypes I found it easy to fall in love with this unique medium, where the outcome is often pure serendipity.
