My work is based on landscape imagery and other natural forms. It is created on a blowpipe with layered colored and clear glass.
Artist Statement
I fell in love with glassblowing with my first gather in art school. It’s been a passion since 1979. My first serious series was creating landscape imagery within the walls of blown vessels. The newest series are sculpture assembled with multiple blown parts based on the dynamic balance of stacked stone cairns.
Artist Bio
Born, raised, and educated in KS, Toby married an Oklahoma City artist, Heather Haynes McGee in 1990. He has operated his private glassblowing studio since 1986. His work is primarily sold at art festivals around the country.
