Artist Bio

Sarah Popejoy is a singer/songwriter and artist. She expresses herself with a multitude of mediums, but her favorites are acrylic paint on canvas and drawing with pencil, pen, and colored pencils. Her influences include Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso (blue period), and most recently Frida Kahlo. While living in Nashville her artwork was displayed at White Tiger Art Gallery off of West End and her painting "Nashville Churches and Bars" was displayed in their window. Selling several paintings at the gallery while in Nashville, Sarah focused mostly on her music, but has always had a passion for art. The artist has since moved back home to Oklahoma to explore further her path as a musician and artist.
