Artist Statement
I’ve been making different backdrops or environments and staging photos and mini videos. Primarily focusing on my back yard and my immediate environment, I study and try to recreate things that happened, or that I saw in a movie or imagined.
Artist Bio
Megan Black received her BA in 2002 from UC Davis and her MFA from NYU in 2006. Although originally from California, she has lived in New York, Arizona and currently lives and works in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
