Artist Statement

The What's Your Story? title derives from experience working with students that have a different and unique internal conflict. Utilizing, my art ability to recognize the power of youth voices to overcome adversity in society today. I am an advocate to amplify the importance of youth voices to inspire, courage and be strong internal and external.

 

 

Artist Bio

Lucinda Jones is an African American female from Jones Oklahoma. Adapting to her creative nature she’s gain passion creating and exploring the true meaning of art through painting portraits. Ms. Jones is a woman of many talents, including cooking. In 2013, she expanded her culinary knowledge by earning her Associates of Applied Science at Oklahoma State University Okmuglee with emphasis in cake. Currently, she is pursuing a B.A in Art in Education at the University of Central State, Edmond Oklahoma.
