I want to tell the stories so that they will continue to be the foundation of Africans to unite with across the diaspora. My work exposes the rawness of our struggle and the heights of our divinity whethed smack dab in the "hood", elegantly displayed in royal places, or at a cafe somewhere in oklahoma citys plaza. My culture is Divine it is covered in laughter, death, blood, or sex. I owe it first to my creator, 2nd my ancestors, and 3rd to my family near and far stretching.
