My work exemplifies access, removed functionality, and loss through ceramics as metaphor.
Artist Statement
My work continues to evolve over time, but keeps a common thread in themes of access, removed functionality, and loss through ceramics as metaphor. I utilize traditional ceramic forms and their vague symbolism along with imposed meaning to tell a coded narrative of my own autobiography, including experiences that are often shared.
