My art is a reflection of myself, a dichotomy of light and dark, of excess and voids; each aspect existing harmoniously with the other in one space.
After a decade of working in the oil and gas industry, my inner creative finally broke out of it's shell. I spent the last year and a half in the studio, day in and day out. I painted while I was in college, but never took a chance on myself. Fast forward ten years and I'd become a corporate cog, unfulfilled and unchallenged. September of 2019 I decided to make a change. I spent the first calendar year in the studio practicing and reclaiming those skills I'd possessed many years before. September of 2020 I stepped outside the studio. I've begun to cultivate relationships within our awesome local art community. I work every day to make my dream a reality. I can't wait to see what's next!
