Artist Statement
I love finding beauty in ordinary things, capturing it on my camera and then exposing it with my photography. I enjoy photographing sunrise and sunsets (and I think the Oklahoma Panhandle has the best), landscapes, agriculture, animals--OK I guess pretty much everything.
Artist Bio
My regular job for the past 38 years is as a rural carrier for the United States Post Office. I drive 118 miles daily on my route, and the day starts at sunrise, so I take lots of sunrise pictures. I love the change of seasons and the different colors the landscape becomes and photographing the landscape as these changes occur.
I started my photography business, Kathy Jo White Photography, a few years ago. I take all forms of clients, Seniors, Children, Babies, Families, Pets and I also do All Occasion Cards featuring my photographs. I display my photography on Facebook at Kathy Jo White Photography.
I am a member of the "Shutterbugs" photography club. We meet monthly and have lessons and often go as a group on photo shoots.
