Artist Statement
Willis strives to combine the organic feel of hand drawn elements into digital media. She may start with pencil on paper or paint on canvas, and scan the images to collage them together with digital elements to present a finished piece. In the instances that she draws in purely traditional medium, she experiments with crayon or pencil on colored papers.
Artist Bio
Jessica R. Willis is a graphic artist working out of Oklahoma. Her commissions include logos; print advertising and menu design; and illustration commissions. Techniques used to complete a project can range from purely digital work to hand drawn images combined with computer graphics.
