Artist Statement
I try to create art that is outside of the normal and which stimulates interest by utilizing elements of both design and function. This usually involves mechanical representations of human behavior or biological cues.
Artist Bio
Jerry Baumeister is an Oklahoma City artist that combines a mechanistic perspective with artistic abstraction. He primarily shows his creations in local art shows and has a hard time separating from his creations. However, he will sell an occasional piece if the buyer is persistent.
