Murals, Painting, Mixed Media

Murals and mixed media art characterized by a love of nature, clean lines and muted colors.

Artist Statement

My life and my art are both a journey of following my curiosity. I desire to be a lifelong learner by always exploring new mediums and techniques, but across all mediums and explorations, my work is anchored by a love of nature, clean lines and muted colors.

Professionally I work primarily as a mural artist, but also love to create mixed media pieces as well.

Artist Bio

Hayley Owen is a professional muralist and mixed media artist. Her work is inspired by her love of nature, and is characterized by her use of muted colors and clean lines. Hayley has followed her love of creating through a wide range of mediums and careers and is filled with gratitude that she now gets to live out this dream of working as a professional artist.

For several years Hayley worked as half of the mural duo, Yo Bro, whose work was featured in Edmond Outlook, 405 Magazine, The Oklahoman and Oklahoma Gazette before the two parted ways to pursue their own art.

Hayley also had the honor of being selected as the 2023 Keep It Local featured artist.

Hayley was born and raised in Oklahoma City, and now lives on a couple acres in Jones, Oklahoma with her husband, two young sons, dogs, cat and goats. It is her desire to live a quiet and simple life, working with her hands and spending her days painting in the sunshine. Hayley's purpose in life is to create beautiful things and to encourage others in beautiful ways.
