My works are experiments of playfulness with the goal being to fill the surface with
energetic passion. I use bright colors and lines to show movement and create organic patterns.
My main source of inspiration is nature, specifically the process of erosion. In my work, the most
important aspect is the play and problem solving to create a visually interesting work of art.
Chandler Domingos is a contemporary painter living and working in Oklahoma City. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts in 2015. She pulls inspiration from travel, earth formations and memorable experiences. She has translated these inspirations into mixed media art which are driven by experimental processes. She has previously made art about themes such as poverty, humor and grief. Chandler is an active member of the Oklahoma City art community serving in Art Group leadership since 2018.
