My artwork is a magnifying glass held over wonder. Sometimes I use the process of creating as a metaphor for my experiential approach to life. Other times, I paint scenes that serve as social commentary. At all times, I want to start a conversation with the viewer about beauty and balance.
Brandon Mitts is an American artist who lives and works in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He received his BFA from Oklahoma State University in 1998 and his MFA from Arizona State University in 2007. His work focuses primarily on celebrating the humor, beauty, and mystery of existence.
