My works are made intentionally without clear meaning to them and it is up to the viewer to determine any meaning that may be there.
Artist Statement
I tend create pieces from a vague idea and let my hand and mind work together without restriction to make a finished piece of art. I do not put much thought into what the work could mean and instead let the ideas materialize organically and even then I prefer to keep them to myself so that other people can tell me what they believe the piece is about, in which I always reply with a "that is exactly it."
Artist Bio
Originally from a smallish town in the middle of nowhere, California, I now live in Norman and attend the University of Oklahoma pursuing a BFA in Studio Arts. While I enjoy creating art myself, I much prefer helping others to further their own skill, which is why I plan on getting my MFA and continuing on to teach art in some way or form.
