Eclectic painter with a love of bright, vibrant colors, animals, nature, and all things weird and unusual.

Artist Statement

Someone once told me my art was equal parts terrifying and sweet. I know life can be both, and that a sense of humor can get us through the darkest of times. I use bright, vibrant colors and often whimsical portrayals to show the inner workings of a subject- be them human, animal, nature, or things that go bump in the night.

Artist Bio

Oklahoma City artist Anne Morales grew up drawing, painting, and making weird little sculptures. She loves 50's scifi movies, old school claymation, and has always made friends with the monsters. Her main muses are nature, science, and animals.

She teaches beginning painting classes at the library and runs an after school art program at an elementary school. She lives at home with a Gabriel, their two kids, two dogs, and a feisty little cat.
