“Interning for OVAC was a great experience. Not only are you working with amazing, unique, creative people, but you are working on projects to enhance the art community for Oklahoma. The creative atmosphere and energy produced by OVAC and its members is contagious and provides a vital source of encouragement and inspiration to artists. My experience interning and volunteering at OVAC is something I cherish very much. It opened the door to meeting people with a common vested interest in the arts and got me involved in local art exhibitions, projects and events.” Karalee Hirst, 2009 spring intern
