Betty, a native of Indiana, holds a BA from Pennsylvania State University. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, with an MFA in printmaking. Her work has been exhibited in numerous juried and invitational shows around the country, and her prints are in collections throughout the U. S. and abroad. She has been the recipient of grants, scholarships, and numerous jurors' awards. Betty has been involved with the arts as a festival coordinator, curator, museum's assistant preparator, artist-in-residence, teaching assistant at Oklahoma Arts Institute. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma.
