I create art because I love the process, the emotion and satisfaction that comes with it. It pulls me into a world in itself and demands total involvement of the creative spirit. After a full career and raising three children I started studying with Leslie Lienau and was greatly inspired and found the direction I needed to pursue my artistic journey. I live in Oklahoma and reside in Edmond with my husband and our three dogs. My medium of choice is soft pastels because of the pure pigments and the luminosity and radiance it produces. My subjects are Still Life and Landscapes. I feel a need to chronicle our beautiful landscapes because it seems what was there yesterday is not here today. I am represented by The Dean Lively Gallery in Edmond, Ok and a member of OVAC, OPS, EAA and IAPS
